In spite of the drenching rain, 1303 runners finished trhe Half Marathon and 244 finished the FK.

Rain puts no damper on Hokie Half Marathon, 5K (The Roanoke Times, October 13, 2014).

Results

The start of the 5K is only two feet different than the half marathon. The finish is the same so we where able to use chip timing for both races. For each runner but the chip time and the gun time are given. According to USATF rules we are suppose to use gun time to figure out who gets awards.
